Plectorhinchinae ialah satu daripada dua subkeluarga dalam keluarga Haemulidae, yang beberapanya dikenali sebagai kaci. Subkeluarga ini dianggap berasal dari Dunia Lama.[2]

Beberapa orang pakar menempatkan genus Genyatremus dalam Haemulinae,[6] sungguhpun Fishbase dan Catalog of Fishes meletakkan genus dalam subkeluarga Plectorhinchinae.[4][5]
