Protest the Hero ialah sebuah kugiran metal progresif Kanada dari Whitby, Ontario.[2] Pada asalnya dinamakan Happy Go Lucky,[3] mereka menukar nama mereka kepada Protest the Hero, kemudian mengeluarkan EP debut mereka, Search for the Truth, pada tahun 2002. Pada tahun 2005, mereka melancarkan album pertama mereka Kezia pada label indie Kanada Underground Operations.
